This approach moves beyond relying on broad environmental claims or prescribed practices. It provides the evidence needed to understand what is actually changing on each farm and creates a credible foundation for increasingly evidence-led fibre sourcing.

At the cotton gin, patented FibreTrace® technology is applied to physically verify Good Earth Cotton® at source, preserving the connection between the fibre, its verified origin and the farm-level evidence behind it as it enters the global supply chain.

Good Earth Cotton® lint can be purchased directly from participating grower organisations, providing manufacturers with access to fibre supported by primary farm-level data, measured outcomes and verified origin.

FibreTrace® technology enables the physical identity of Good Earth Cotton® to be verified from source. At defined points in the supply chain, physical verification events can authenticate the Good Earth Cotton® fibre identity, maintaining the connection between the fibre and its verified origin.

To make a Good Earth Cotton® product claim, yarn, fabric or finished products must contain a minimum of 50% Good Earth Cotton® fibre. All claims must clearly and proportionately reflect the verified Good Earth Cotton® fibre content within the product.
